About Us

Gennaro's Pizzeria in Hamilton Township, New Jersey, is owned and operated by lifelong Trenton/Hamilton Township resident, Gennaro "Jerry" Salzano. Jerry's passion for the restaurant business started at a very young age when, at 14, he began working at some of the finest Italian restaurants and pizzerias in the Chambersburg section of Trenton. Many of the Italian dishes served at Gennaro's are made from recipes passed down from generation to generation by his Italian ancestors. Gennaro's signature thin- crust tomato pies, homemade soups, appetizers, specialty salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes, desserts and daily specials are all made with the finest ingredients. Gennaro's Tripe special, his mom-mom Rae's recipe, is already frequently requested by the locals.

One of the few places in Hamilton which offers covered, outside dining, Gennaros Pizzeria is a place where you can go to enjoy a romantic, inexpensive, evening out with a loved one or a place to take your family after a baseball or soccer game. Family members and close friends work at the restaurant and are there to make your dining experience an enjoyable one. One visit to Gennaro's and you will also feel like part of the famiglia!
